What Kind of Problems Do People Bring? ….

Some people come into therapy without bringing any specific issue. Sometimes it’s because they want to understand themselves more deeply. Sometimes it’s because they want to intensify their experience of life, or realise their full potential.

Quite a lot of the clients who come to Jungian therapy are going through a ‘mid-life crisis.’ This means that after living a successful life in the first half, they suddenly become unsure of where they are going and what they are doing.

However there are many other reasons why you might consider therapy and some of these are listed below…

Other Reasons Why You Might Consider Therapy ….

It may be that you are having difficulties in your relationship – or in the fact that you don’t have a relationship.

Difficulties may come from your loss or bereavement, illness or other setbacks…

You may feel misunderstood, confused, depressed or anxious.

It may be that you feel disappointed with life – or that it feels impossible to find balance, direction or meaning.

You might have dreams which are troubling you – or which you wish to understand more deeply.

You might be suffering from a particular trauma – or It could be that the world seems a frightening and dangerous place.

‘For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin – real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be got through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.’  (Alfred D’Souza)
